As the practice continues to grow, MedCare Staffing is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician, or an Internal Medicine-Pediatrics (Med-Peds) Physician, who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while enjoying an outstanding work-life balance.

Position Highlights
• Established patient panel with immediate volume

Schedule
• Monday–Friday
• Physician hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• One-hour lunch
• No hospital work
Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
• Perform physical examinations
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies
• Prescribe medications and therapies
• Manage chronic diseases
• Perform Medicare Annual Wellness Visits
• Educate patients on preventive care
• Coordinate care with specialists through the practice’s referral coordinator
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Lock and finish the chart within 48 hours of the patient’s visit
Qualifications
Required:
• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Internal Medicine-Pediatrics (Med-Peds)
• Active Texas medical license (or eligible)
• DEA registration
• Excellent communication and clinical skills
Preferred:
• Three years of outpatient experience (strong new graduates considered)
• EMR experience
• Passion for serving diverse communities
