Locum Tenens Opportunity – Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Start Date: May 18, 2025
Duration: Through end of May (with possible extension)
12 hour shifts
Medcare Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) for locum tenens coverage at a reputable facility in North Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
Position Details: Specialty – Urgent Care. Schedule – Flexible locum assignment with possibility of extension. Setting – Outpatient Urgent Care. EMR: Athena. MA and X-Ray on site.
Qualifications: Master’s Degree and graduation from an accredited FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner) or PA (Physician Assistant) program. Active NC license as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Minimum 2 years of Urgent Care experience required. Current BLS or ACLS certification. NCRME certificate.
